Position Title: Branch Office Manager
Location: Century City
Description: West coast office of mid-sized national AmLaw 100 firm with large east coast presence located in Century City. Supervises all support staff at local office, guided by overall Firm policies and procedures. Maintains communication with Administrative Partner and Senior Administration regarding potential problems and conflicts. Development and retention of support staff. Maintenance of secretary-attorney ratios. Maintenance of discipline histories, probationary periods and terminations. Identifies staffing needs; assists in interviewing and hiring support staff. Sends appropriate hire and termination forms to Corporate Office. Deals with disciplinary, performance and interpersonal relations issues.
Required Skills: Minimum of five years Human Resource and/or Office Manager experience, preferably at a branch office of a large law firm. Strong interpersonal skills. Must be an effective communicator and team builder and display strong leadership skills.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
