National firm of Michelman & Robinson LLP has an immediate need for a Chief Financial Officer. Firm wide responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Direct all finance, accounting and treasury functions including cash forecasting, cash management, operational budgeting, month-end closing,
Executive Committee reports, and ensures accuracy in accounting/financial reporting. Oversee the general accounting operations of the Firm which include:
? Maintain general ledger, fixed asset, client trust accounting, accounts receivable process
? Oversee accounting for related entities, accounting system balancing and close
? Maintenance of fiscal records, account comparisons and reconciliations and internal auditing
? Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles
? Handle business and insurance policies, including professional liability, worker’s compensation, business license, etc.
? Prepare or insure all required tax filings are prepared on a timely basis (payroll, corporate, property, business license, etc.) |
| Required Skills: |
7+ years of progressive experience as a Controller/CFO in a multi-office professional services firm
Proficient in Elite software required
Excellent computer skills and a demonstrated proficiency in Excel
Excellent organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and multi-tasking abilities
Ability work with a practical approach in building and implementing processes
Previous management of an accounting team of at least three |
| Required Education: |
Advanced degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA desired |
