Morrison & Foerster is seeking a business-focused, results-driven Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to provide strategic direction and counsel to administrative leadership teams for key functional areas and offices. The HRBP drives and delivers highly effective HR services including performance management; talent acquisition, development and retention; organizational development; training; coaching, change management; leadership strategies; succession planning; employee relations and policy administration. Establishes credible, collaborative relationships with directors and managers of assigned business partners and guides HR solutions with deep understanding of their strategies and needs. Leads from an influencing, proactive, big picture mindset, but exercises the ability to be responsive and hands-on when necessary. |
| Required Skills: |
Strong functional HR knowledge particularly in performance management, organizational development, training, and metrics needed. The candidate will have a passion for the profession combined with the business acumen and emotional intelligence required to be an influential strategic partner with senior managers. He/she will have the drive to solve problems, execute flawlessly and deliver high quality results. Exceptional communication skills, solid project management skills and sound judgment are a must. |
| Required Education: |
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational development or related field and a minimum of 10 years of solid experience in Human Resources with at least 3 years managing people. A Master’s degree is preferred and experience with Asia and Europe a plus.
